2027 Seattle City Council primary elections will be conducted using ranked-choice voting in all seven districts. These elections present excellent opportunities for Seattle Greens to mobilize and influence local politics.
We have some asks for you and all Seattle Green Party supporters, but first, some background.
Seattle Greens plans to increase our visibility and work with coalition partners to create a strong solidarity platform with equally strong candidate offerings.
A working document is already drafted, but no final decisions have been made on any component of the platform or candidate offerings.
The grassroots can best make these decisions with involvement from coalition partners who support this effort and want to be part of it.

VISIBILITY
Can you begin attending Seattle City Council Meetings? Showing up with other members of the public is an easy way to show that Seattle Greens are following and interested in impacting the issues before the city council. Already, Seattle Greens member Alice Green has been a regular. Let's build a team of city council followers to gather there.
PARTNERSHIPS
Are you active in one of the organizations on the working document, an organization with whom Seattle Greens can partner in this Seattle Solidarity initiative? Are you a member of a partner group that should be on the working document?
In the months ahead, Seattle Greens will need to mobilize volunteers in each Seattle City Council district. You can help us get started:
