We deserve a sustainable Seattle for everyone.

But our political and economic system keeps us divided, unequal, and complacent in the face of planetary destruction. We recognize that in order to build a better world, we must first imagine it. In the words of Frederick Douglas - "Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never has and it never will." We are that demand.

We demand a democracy that equally represents us in all our political diversity. We demand an economy that grows our collective wealth. And we demand a society that stewards the health of the planet for our own future and our children's future.

We organize as members of the Seattle Green Party and as part of a network of Global Greens for the planet and future that we want to live in. Here is the Seattle we demand:
